FDA approves Merck’s head and neck cancer drug

A new cancer drug therapy, Keytruda, manufactured byMerck, known outside the US as MSD, has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of patients with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) with disease progression on or after platinum-containing chemotherapy.
